Is there a weight limit?

Yes. The weight limit of the boards is 350 lbs.

Are kids allowed?

No. 18 years old and up only.

Do we have to wear our vests at all times?

While it's not mandatory, we strongly recommend wearing your vests, especially if you’re not a confident swimmer. If you choose not to wear it, please keep it on your board within easy reach.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes, as long as they are well-behaved and comfortable on the board for a length of time. However, dogs are not allowed in the springs. At Alexander Springs Run, you can bring your furry friends; however, you will not be able to swim in the actual spring.

Will there be gators?

YES. Please understand that all wildlife will be visible. This is their home, and we are in their space. You will most likely see Gators, Fish, Birds, Manatees, Turtle, and, if you are lucky, river otters!

If you do not feel like you can comfortably paddle past a gator or any of the above-mentioned animals, I encourage you not to book. This does require you to be calm and understand that as long as you keep a consistent paddle, you are safe.

What should I expect after I book?

When you book, you will receive two emails. One is the receipt, and the other is a confirmation email with the date, time, and type of tour you chose. Once that is done, I will send you the name and address of where the tour will be held. This way, you can check it out beforehand online if you choose.

What should I expect on the tours?

No matter which one you choose to book, I will start with an introduction of myself and get to learn everyone's name. Next will be a simple safety briefing. I will quickly go through the hand placement of paddles, and certain positions you can be in on the board. After that I will get everyone loaded into the water and have you all play around a little to get your bearings in the water. Once that is complete, we will head out!

Should I bring anything?

I recommend the following

• Water

• Towel

• Reef Safe Sunscreen ( I personally use https://jaxorganix.com/product/natural-mineral-sports-stick-tinted/ )

• Snacks

• Water Shoes

• Clothes you don’t mind getting wet

• Sunglasses/ Hat

I have to cancel. Will I get a refund?

I require all cancellations to be made before the 48-hour window before your appointment date. If canceled before the 48-hour cut-off, I will issue a refund. If it is within the 48-hour cut-off, I will not be able to issue a refund.
